Discovered by actor Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and began her career in film in the late 1940s. The actress portrayed Norma in several popular films throughout time, like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho from 1960 and Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film which was released in 1954.
