Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale, the American basketball player who plays with the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. Her name was chosen as the 5th overall selection during the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Dallas Wings. Arike Ogunbowale was born the 2nd of March 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. She has two brothers Mario (26 year young) and Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). The parents of her were the ones who spoilt her most because she was the youngest. Gregory was her father. He was involved in the Nigerian Army quite a while. Ogunbowale has a thriving family history. The mother of the child Yolanda and brother Dare each played softball attending DePaul. Her aunt played volleyball at UAPB as was their cousin Endia Oliver is also a Volleyball player in Tennessee State. Ogunbowale was named to the honor roll of her school for three consecutive years. The high school she attended earned her respect and acclaim. Arike graduated from secondary school education through Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, located in her home town. While studying at the school, she played three years of varsity football. Ogunbowale was able to lead her team to numerous wins thanks to her exceptional skills. Through her time at high school she's had started 73 times and has 1,477 points. She also lists 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale has won gold at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships as well as the 2014 FIBA U17 world Championships as well as the 2013 U18 FIBA 3x3 Championships. In July of 2014 she was chosen to be a member of the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team, after her first year at the college. Kobe Bryant has congratulated the kid after she took several impressive shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale's basketball career has gotten starting off well and she is expected to continue in that direction. Arike Ogunbowale is said to be worth $5 million as per an anonymous source. Ogunbowale isn't just a superb basketball athlete. She is also a pro at other sports too. She also enjoys soccer. She was awarded State Cup titles with Lake County United Soccer Club and FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. She also studied piano for 7 years.
