April Lockhart is a born on July 4 in 1995. As a seventh-grade student, she started taking piano and guitar lessons. This ignited her passion to write songs. April Lockhart wrote her first track"Different" at 12 years old. As April approached 14 years old, she devoted an enormous amount of time making song concepts and perfecting her music. After a while, she began to travel with her dad and write at home in NY and LA. April was the month that she began to write about other issues in her book Take My Hand to help the people in her life who are struggling in the face of peer pressure, disability or even suicide. Lockhart, a popular lifestyle influencer, as well as being a partner with brands that are clean and healthy like Ilia and YSL, has cultivated an impressive audience. It's true that she was born without a left hand and that makes her unique. However, this isn't the only aspect that makes her unique. Yet, she confesses that she has had periods of feeling uneasy about her appearance and wearing clothing that showed her arms. Nowadays, she dresses what she's comfortable in and post photos in those outfits to social media, she is proud of herself. She says that self-love is a journey. It's not clear if you'll ever reach the end. However, that is common for anyone who has insecurities. It's essential to have those in your life who know and understand you.
