Anya Volz is a New York City-based comic originally born in Vermont. A lot of men from America have described her style as funny but not too preachy. Anya Taylor-Joy is the half English and the other half Spanish sister of Dennis Alan Taylor who was an ex-banker during his previous career and Jennifer Marina Joy. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's prior marriage. The family was initially from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria in the year she turned aged six. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos aires to Victoria was a struggle and she didn't take the time to learn English and was hoping to go back to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was forced to change schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school plays. After dropping out at 16 she pursued an acting career. The dream of Taylor-Joy to become an actor of professional caliber started at a young age.
