Zazie Olivia Beetz was born on January 1, 2001 in Berlin. Her father was a German Cabinet Maker who immigrated to the United States following the fall of the Berlin Wall. Jennifer Aniston is also a former student of the same high school. Beetz attended Skidmore College to study French after completing LaGuardia. She began auditioning immediately after having graduated from college. After a few auditions in Atlanta Beetz was able to land the role of Van. Beetz was the daughter of an African American father and mother who was a German mother who was born in Berlin and Berlin was raised as the only New Yorker who was bilingual. Zazie has performed in local theaters since the age of a kid. Her passion for acting was evident and she started acting at the age of elementary school. Zendaya is able to achieve her Disney Channel breakthrough role Zendaya has an amazing dance ability. Her casting was finalized for her breakthrough role as Rocky Blue, along with co-star Bella Thorne, on the hit program Shake It Up. Zendaya was just 11 when, during a road trip with her family, she came across the meat processing facility. PEOPLE reports that she said, "It was horrible to witness all the animals awaiting slaughter inside that slaughterhouse." This was the method I was using to get my meat shocked me. The woman has since adhered to a vegetarian diet.
